Welcome to the Education Effect - an organization providing education and schools for children - in particular girls - in Afghanistan. Started on opposite sides of Canada by Michelle Pham, Shelby Levesque and Sharly Chan, we hope to expand this to a national effort.
We're here to speak out for the children and women of Afghanistan who have been largely hindered by the onset of political turmoil and oppression.
By 2012, we hope to have built a fully-equipped school with locals in Afghanistan while also creating sustainable villages in the years to come with renewable sources of energy.
